Ruth's Love Scholarship

The Ruth’s Love Scholarship provides assistance to Nursing students on the Trinidad Campus who demonstrate initiative, financial responsibility through on or off-campus employment, involvement in campus and/or community service, and above all, a desire to serve others. Applicants should address these qualities in their personal statement. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be accepted into the Nursing Program on the Trinidad Campus;
• Must be enrolled in either the Practical Nursing (PN Certificate toward becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN) or the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN toward becoming a Registered Nurse);
• No minimum GPA is required for selection; however, applicant must explain commitment and motivation to achieving and maintaining a minimum 2.5 GPA in the program in order to be eligible to renew the scholarship;
• Preference will be given to veterans of the armed forces.
