Tracy Abeyta Scholarship

The Tracy Abeyta Scholarship Fund provides assistance to non-traditional Nursing students on the Trinidad Campus. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

• Must be accepted into the Nursing Program on the Trinidad Campus;
• Must be enrolled in either the Practical Nursing (PN Certificate toward becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN) or the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN toward becoming a Registered Nurse);
• Have a minimum 2.5 GPA;
• Preference will be given to residents of Las Animas or Huerfano Counties in Colorado or Colfax County in New Mexico, who have attended local schools or lived in the area for at least 10 years.
