Stratosphere Scholarship

The Stratosphere Scholarship is awarded to students who are enrolled in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math related pathway at a CCCS college. Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, fees, books, required supplies and any other costs to fully meet a student’s unmet financial need. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must: Be enrolled or intend to enroll in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math program at one of the 13 Colorado community colleges: Arapahoe Community College, Colorado Northwestern Community College, Community College of Aurora, Community College of Denver, Front Range Community College, Lamar Community College, Morgan Community College, Northeastern Junior College, Otero Junior College, Pikes Peak Community College, Pueblo Community College, Red Rocks Community College, Trinidad State Junior College; Have a minimum GPA of 2.5; Complete, and submit to their college, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA.ed.gov); Be eligible for in-state tuition; and Must be a US citizen or ASSET student.

Award: For the 2020-2021 academic year, eight $2,500 scholarships will be awarded.
